Pallet storage is the optimal solution for goods that are received, stored, and dispatched in full pallets. Manufacturers holding finished products before distribution, importers receiving container shipments, distributors managing transit stock, and e-commerce businesses with seasonal inventory all benefit from rack-based pallet storage. If your goods weigh over 20 kg per unit or arrive on standard EUR 1200×800 mm pallets, pallet storage is more cost-effective than bin storage.
Address-based WMS tracking
Every pallet position at MTP Group has a unique address in the WMS system: row, tier, and slot. On receipt, the warehouse operator scans the barcode, and the system automatically assigns the optimal rack position based on weight, turnover frequency, and expiry dates (FEFO). Infrastructure and security
MTP Group warehouses near Kyiv have operated without interruption since 2022. Three backup generators and Starlink ensure power and connectivity during any grid outage. Temperature is maintained at 15–25°C year-round. Physical security and full CCTV coverage operate 24/7. Basic cargo insurance is included in the storage rate, with extended coverage available on request.

Product categories accepted
The racking system handles standard EUR 1200×800 mm pallets up to 2 tonnes per tier and 1.8 m loaded height. Eligible categories include packaged household chemicals and cosmetics, dietary supplements and nutraceuticals, shelf-stable food products in sealed retail packaging, consumer electronics and small appliances, apparel in master cartons, automotive parts, hardware and building components, and industrial goods. Excluded categories: prescription pharmaceuticals (separate licensing required), firearms and ammunition, alcohol without operator licence, frozen goods below 0°C, live plants, and ADR class 1–9 hazardous goods (explosive, toxic, radioactive). Liquids and goods at risk of leakage require sealed pallet trays and additional shrink-wrap — discussed individually with the account manager prior to receiving.
Short-term and long-term storage tiers
The standard 450 UAH per pallet position per month rate is calibrated for 30–60 day turnover. For inventory held beyond 90 days without dispatch activity, MTP Group offers a discounted long-term tier from 380 UAH/pallet/mo on a quarterly contract and from 320 UAH on an annual contract. Importers with seasonal container shipments can opt for the short-term 14–30 day tier with itemised handling fees — convenient when waiting for customs clearance or distributor allocation. All tiers include the same service stack: WMS tracking, CCTV, autonomous power, 24/7 dashboard access. Cargo insurance up to 500,000 UAH per pallet position is bundled into the base rate; high-value cargo gets an individually underwritten policy from an A-class insurer.
Goods receipt and documentation
Standard receipt paperwork: TTN or CMR from the carrier, packing list with piece counts and weight, commercial invoice or delivery note. If the documents and physical goods do not match on receipt, the warehouse logs a discrepancy report with photo evidence and notifies the supplier and client within 24 hours. Each pallet is tagged with a unique QR code linked to its rack address and operations history. Dispatch documents are generated in your dashboard — either self-service or via the account manager. Lead time from dispatch request to truck departure is from 4 hours during business hours; requests received before 14:00 ship the same day. Cargo security and CCTV coverage
Both warehouses — Shchaslyve (2,700 m²) and Bilohorodka (1,000 m²) — have 24/7 manned physical security, perimeter CCTV with 60-day footage retention, and access control via electronic cards. The receiving and dispatch zone has a separate camera array with photo capture of each pallet on entry and exit. Fire suppression: smoke detectors per aisle and certified extinguishers per tier. Fire and intrusion alarms route directly to the police rapid-response service. Basic cargo insurance is included in the rate; operator liability for goods on premises is contractually defined.
